Calindia Lee Jenkins

in San Diego California to Robert and Jeanie Jenkins. She attended Upland High School in Upland California.

She was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force as a Telecommunication Specialist and was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California and an oversea base, Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath, Suffolk, England. Calindia and Aaron (ex-spouse) lived at these military installations: George Air Force Base, Victorville, California, Royal Air Force Base Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, England, Edwards Air Force Base, Edwards, California and Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nevada. From 1987 to 1991, Calindia did work in Beverly Hills, California for an Apple One Leasing Agent.

In that same time frame, she was employed with Central Casting in Burbank and worked on different theater movies and television shows as a background set person. Her appearances were in Movies: Frankie and Johnny, The Great Outdoors and Internal Affairs. She appeared in these Television shows: Empty Nest and LA Law. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Calindia was a giving person. She never hesitated to show concern and care for people she saw who were in need. Calindia is survived by her two sons Christopher Rosemond and Alexander Rosemond; sisters Linda Wright and Loraine Lacey; brothers Robert Jenkins Jr. and Donnie Jenkins; grandson Jeremiah Rosemond and his mother Lacoya Plymer, and previous spouse Aaron Rosemond. Calindia’s Memorial Service will be at 1p.m. Thursday, January 24, at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd Las Vegas. Calindia requested her Memorial Service be a Celebration of her Life. No traditional black attire, colorful and joyful clothes.
