Camilla Elaine Barnett-Inman

Camilla Elaine Barnett-Inman, 75 of North Las Vegas, passed away on April 26, 2014. Camilla was born on April 3, 1939 in Emporia Kansas to William Preston Smith and Vera Faye Robinson, who passed away when she was very young and she was adopted by her Uncle John Wesley Smith and Aunt Margaret Josephene Brown Smith where she joined her new big sister Esther Louise Smith.

Camilla was raised in Emporia Kansas and married Jerry Rex Barnett to this union David Rex Barnett and Vera Denise Barnett were born. They later divorced.

Camilla moved herself and her young children to California for 5 years later relocating to North Las Vegas her home of 47 years. Leaving only to spend time with family in Utah and Montana or wherever Don(Nile) and Camilla traveled for fun.

Camilla worked for City of Las Vegas at the City Parking ramps and then in the City Engineering Department and retired after 37 years. She was a very hard working and dedicated employee.

Camilla met and married her wonderful husband Donald Nile Inman in 1985 and our family grew. She gained a son Christopher and daughter Chananne.

She was preceded in death by her birth and adopted parents, sister Esther Taber, Mother in law Esther Inman, brother in laws Orin and Earl Jr(Sonny)Inman, granddaughter Alyssa Faye Barnett and grandson Erick Stockert.

She is survived by her husband Don(Nile), son David Barnett of Utah, daughter Vera (Tom) Stockert of Montana, Christopher (Eileen) Inman of Japan and Chananne (Mike) Surman of North Las Vegas. Grandchildren: Bradley Barnett, Bryan Barnett, Shannon Hansen, Megan (Ben) Watkins, David Jr. (Ashley) Barnett, Aaron (Maegan) Barnett, Brendan Inman, Siyerra Surman, Alyssa Surman and Hannah Surman. Great Grandchildren: Quentin Hansen, Alyssa Kate Hansen, Owen Barnett, Boston Watkins, Uriah Barnett and Madison Elaine Watkins and (granddaughter to be born in July) Elizabeth Barnett. Sister in laws Carol Barnett Hellen of Oklahoma, Alice Mann of Texas, Joyce(Mark) Glick of Las Vegas and Robin( Dave) Poirier. Many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 12:00pm at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Buchanan Blvd. Boulder City, Nevada 89005
