Hi grandma i miss you so much and lately I've been thinking about you so much these past couple of months I’ve felt like I’ve been needing you the most thinking about you really does hurt my heart and makes me so emotional I really miss you lately it has been getting to me a lot because I had a daughter her name is Gabriella Carmen Garcia and she is such a happy and wonderful baby girl she just turned one on August 24th I wish you could’ve met her I know you would’ve loved her the way you loved me and all your grandchildren and great grandchildren. When gabby gets older I will definitely tell her where her middle name comes from and how amazing you were of a person I will forever cherish all of the great memories you gave me and my siblings and my cousins I love you so much grandma

To my beautiful angel 🕊 I’m graduating this Friday n it’s going to be a really hard day for me knowing you not gonna be there. This year was extremely hard for me especially since you weren’t here for my last year of high school. But I did it for you like I promised🤞🏽.I hate that I have to graduate with you not beside me. Out of everyone in this world I wanted you to see me graduate n tell me how proud you are of me and give me the biggest hug you can possibly give me. I would love your hugs right now. Mom I think about you everyday. Its been so hard with you gone. I try so hard to be strong for my dad and especially for the kids. AUNT CARMEN I LOVE YOU & WILL MISS YOU. SO MANY MEMORIES GROWING UP, ESPECIALLY WITH ME AND TUDY BEING CLOSE AND ALWAYS HAVING OUR BIRTHDAYS TOGETHER. THOSE WERE MEMORIES I CHERISHED AS A KID. ALSO, ONE GREAT MEMORY THAT  I CANT THANK YOU AND UNCLE ART ENOUGH FOR GETTING ME INTO SPORTS AS A KID AND INSPIRING ME TO GET INTO COACHING, WHICH LED ME TO EVENTUALLY COACH MY OWN KIDS AND BE INVOLVED WITH THEIR SPORTS. SPEAKING OF SPORTS AS A KID, I’LL NEVER FORGET THE TIME YOU DROVE ME TO MY GAME THAT WAS AT PUENTE PARK. YOU DROPPED ME OFF BECAUSE YOU WERE GOING TO GO PARK AND AS I WAS WALKING, 3 TEENAGERS CAME UP TO ME AND HIT ME UP IF I WAS FROM BASSETT BECAUSE OF MY JERSEY. THEN 10 YEAR OLD ME, THINKING THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE PARK I PLAYED FOR, HAD CONFIDENTLY SAID “YEAH!”… AS SOON AS I SAID THAT, THE TEENAGER BEGAN TO START FIGHTING ME. LUCKILY YOU SEEN AND HOPPED OFF THE CAR, RUNNING TO ME, AND SWINGING YOUR PURSE AT THE KIDS AND CUSSING THEM OUT UNTIL THEY RAN AWAY. I LAUGH EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT THAT BECAUSE THAT WAS TYPICAL YOU, ALWAYS BEING THERE AND HAVING MY BACK. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, YOU WILL BE MISSED. I LOVE YOU! ❤️

I am not only going to miss you, your hugs, your kisses, I will especially miss your beautiful voice the most, your hands holding my face, asking, “How’s my baby doing?” Even though I was  your niece, everyone was your baby. You had so much unconditional love, and you made sure everyone felt it.

There is many memories of you I have. They make me laugh, cry (tears of joy), and smile.

You’ve been amazing here in earth and you are so loved by many. Thank you for excepting me as one of your own and always thinking of me through the years. You’ve raised great children along with your grandchildren and one of which is my beautiful sister Janielle. Thank you for caring and loving her and showing her so many great things that she will carry on forever and ever. We will all miss you but of course we will meet again. Just know you are deeply missed and loved.

Grandma was always there for us when no one else was she would make sure we were healthy and well for ourselves and I’ll always be thankful for having her as a big part of my life it was difficult watching her go on to a better life because she’ll no longer be present in this physical world she has moved on too her higher spiritual form and it was only the beginning of a everlasting journey she is lookin over us and guiding us through all our ups and down ik god will watch over and take good care of her she’ll never be forgotten and will always be missed we  cherish every moment spent with you and we love you forever and always until our souls reunite I’m glad you’re finally at peace rest in paradise my beautiful guardian angel 👼❤️

Carmen, Thank you for making my and my siblings childhood so memorable.  The bond you and art had with my parents was beautiful. The late nights you guys stayed up talking outside and Janielle, Monique and I camping out just to be out there with you guys. Thank you for loving us and being there for us in our darkest time. We will forever love & miss you.
