Carol Gene Kirtley

Carol Gene Kirtley, 61, of Las Vegas passed away comfortably at home Thursday October 6, 2016, after spending the last four months visiting and spending time with those she loved dearly and were closest to. She was born May 8, 1955 to Ed and Victoria Gordon in Downey California and was a 42 year resident of Las Vegas. Carol was a Director of Catering and Convention Services in various Hotel Casino’s around the Valley. She was exceptionally gifted at helping others, loved her profession and truly missed it upon her retirement in 2012. Carol was a wonderful mother, terrific grandmother, faithful daughter and sister and the best friend a person could ask for. She loved God, her kids, family and friends, her pups, taking cruises, the ocean and the mountains, she loved life. Carol is survived by the loves of her life, her daughters Alexandra Michelle Kirtley and Danielle Marie Kirtley, her two beautiful grandsons Anthony and Dillon Noguez, all of Las Vegas, her best friend and mother Victoria Orr and sister Kathleen Gordon, both of Laguna Nigel, California and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her loving father Ed Gordon, Stepmother Yvonne Gordon and mother in-law Margaret Kirtley. Services will be held Sunday October 23, 2016 at 1 PM at Palm Mortuary located at 1325 N. Main Street, L.V.Nv. 89101. A short Memorial to follow at Palm Mortuary.
