Carol Smirk

Carol Daly Smirk, 73, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014. She was born January 2, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Las Vegas for 34 years. Carol was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Carol always had her home open to all and all were welcome. She is survived by her children Mary E. (Darin Kellogg) Smirk of Las Vegas, John W. (Dana) Smirk of Las Vegas, William P. (Martha) Smirk of Henderson and Paul G. (Bridgette) of Las Vegas; grandchildren, William “Jake”, John, Griffin, Nickolas and Hailey; brother-in-law, Joseph Grillo, brother, Eugene Daly, sister, Patricia Meade, sister, Joan O’Callaghn, brother-in-law, William O’Callaghan, sister-in-law, Ellen Dally, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, William “Bill” Smirk, her granddaughter, Alika Smirk, brother, Paul Daly, sister-in-laws, Mary Rita Grillo, Helen Dominianni and Joan Daly, brother-in-laws, Charles “Chuck” Meade and Frank Dominanni.
