Cecilia N Mcintyre

Cecilia was born March 7, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. She attended school in Brooklyn where she met her high school sweetheart, John J. “Jack” McIntyre, whom she married in 1958. They settled on Long Island, NY where they raised their five sons. Cecilia was instrumental in volunteering at school and in the community while creating the foundation for their sons to become reputable men in their respective communities. In 1985, Cecilia ultimately settled in Las Vegas with her husband Jack, and sons Charles and Kevin. Robert, John, and Paul and their families moved to Las Vegas over the years as well, bringing Cecilia’s family together until her death. She will be missed by many, but her seat at Sunday morning breakfast with the boys will always be present to remind everyone of her wisdom and wit.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her father; Robert Hubner, mother; Mary Hubner, and her soulmate-husband; John J. McIntyre. She is survived by her children: Robert (Evangeline), John (Victoria), Paul (Anna), Charles (Marilyn), Kevin (Shelley), grandchildren: Patrick (Mimi), Mechelle, Chadwick, Ryan, Eric (Cassie), Brian (Kylie), Connor, Andrew, Anthony and great grandchildren: Evelyn, Brendan, Liam as well as many loved family and friends.

A memorial service to honor Cecilia McIntyre will be held on May 29, 2019, 4-5 PM, at Palm Mortuary, North Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association may be made in Cecilia’s name.
