

Charles Edward Crane was born on January 3, 1941, in Longview, Texas, to Lawrence T. “LT” Crane and Bessie Bowen Crane. In 1944, the family relocated to Ripley, California, where he attended Ripley Elementary, Palo Verde Junior High, and Palo Verde High School. Charles peacefully departed this life on April 29, 2026, at the age of 85, after courageously battling several health issues. He spent his fi nal moments at home, surrounded by the love of his cherished family.
Charles dedicated more than 50 years of his life to working as a skilled cement mason. Though he briefl y drove big rigs, he ultimately returned to the trade he loved most. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in every foundation he helped build.
Beyond his work, Charles found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He deeply loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Known for his sharp sense of style and pride in his appearance, Charles enjoyed shopping and treasured the laughter and playful moments shared with his children, nieces, and nephews.
Charles’s legacy is one of strength, resilience, and unconditional love. He will be remembered as a man who endured hardship with grace and remained a steady source of support for those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Bessie Crane; his brothers, John, Lewis, Milton, and Lawrence; his sister, Dorothy; and his daughter, Donna.
He leaves to cherish his memory his former wives, Myrtle, Mattie, and Dora; his sons, Danny, Anthony, Andre, Derrick and wife Trina, and Thomas “TK”; his daughters, Janet, Mary Pat and husband Lewis, and Nadia; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever remember his warmth, kindness, and loving spirit.

Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, US, on May 22, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on May 22, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
