

Charlie F. Vaughn passed away on May 20, 2015. He was born on 8 July 1928 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He resided in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1963. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Nora Vaughn and wife Mary & wife Joanne. He is survived by his daughters Norita Epinosa & Lynn Ann Lescenski (John), grandsons Jordan & Jarred Espinosa, granddaughters Rebekah & Abigail Lescenski, stepdaughter Michelle Bell, sister Esther Sundberg, Mesa, Arizona and several nieces and nephews. Charlie served in the United States Air Force, as a B 26 gunner, during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla (Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a vice president of Nevada Power Company (NV Energy) and retired as president of their subsidiary Nevada Electric Investment Company (NEICO). Charlie remained active in the National Society of Professional Engineers. He was a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Colorado & Nevada. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas (Grace Presbyterian), 1515 West Charleston Blvd, for over fifty years. Services will be held at the church on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Presbyterian Church.
