August 23, 1941 – April 8, 2026
Charlotte M. Cutler, 84, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on April 8, 2026, following a brief but brave battle with cancer. Throughout her final days, she fought until the very end, maintaining the same fierce independence that defined her life. Known affectionately to her family as "Sherry," she was a pillar of strength and a source of constant joy to those closest to her.
Born in Anaconda, Montana, on August 23, 1941, to Michael J. and Mary Alice (Levick) Frankovich, Charlotte was a daughter of the mountains who eventually made her home in the desert sun. She began her professional life working in the chemistry lab for the Anaconda Copper Co., later transitioning her talents to become a Cosmetologist. As a hairstylist, she loved creating new looks for her clients and truly cherished the time she spent in "the shop," enjoying the conversation and connection that came with her craft before her retirement.
Charlotte was a woman of "signature" style. She and her sisters are famously known for their coordinated look: a crisp white blouse with a popped collar, jeans, and sandals. Whether she was in her backyard reading among the birds and flowers or exploring the world by car, plane, and ship, she lived life with a playful heart. She was a natural prankster who loved a good joke and was legendary for her "one-liners." Many of the family's most cherished memories were made while camping, surrounded by nature and the people she loved. If a song she liked hit the airwaves, she was known to dance wherever she stood.
Her kitchen was a place of legendary comfort, famous for her lemon meringue pie and banana bread. Beyond her baking and her humor, Charlotte’s greatest impact was her heart. She was a devoted listener who always had time for anyone needing to talk, offering sound advice and a kind word to friends and family alike.
Charlotte is reunited in eternal rest with her loving husband, Jack Cutler Sr.; her parents, Michael and Mary Alice (Levick) Frankovich; her brother, Michael J. Frankovich Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Tom Sirginson, Tim Mix, Larry Riley Sr., and Les Hawthorne; her nephew, David Sirginson; and her niece, Linda Riley.
She is survived by her loving children and their families:
Jack Jr. (Leann) Cutler of Las Vegas, NV, and grandchildren Travis Cutler and Justin Cutler.
Lori (Trees Segers) Cutler of Berthoud, CO, grandson Zach (Danni) Cutler-Orrey of Fremont, CA, and great-grandson Jay Cutler-Orrey.
James Cutler of Las Vegas, NV.
She leaves behind her beloved siblings: Mary Ann Riley (Anaconda, MT), JoAnne Sirginson (Anaconda, MT), Ruth Mix (Hamilton, MT), John (Dora) Frankovich (Vernal, UT), Nancy (Jim) Connors (Anaconda, MT), Kathy (Larry) Parks (Anaconda, MT), Jane Hawthorne (Anaconda, MT), Patricia Bieber (Anchorage, AK), and Gary (Sunny) Frankovich (West Virginia).
