Connie Lee Dowling

It is with great sadness that the family of Connie L Dowling announce her passing on November 19th, 2024 at age 76 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Connie was born in Mccook, Nebraska on March 28, 1948 to Donald and Geraldine Chambers. Connie grew up in Denver, Colorado where she met the love of her life James Dowling at the A&W in 1963. They married in 1965 and shortly after had 2 beautiful children, Jamee and Dianna. They were married for 59 years and together for 62 years. They were actively involved in the American Legion Post 193. In 1995 they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she continued to raise her family. Throughout Connie’s life she worked as a bookkeeper, bartender, and a zookeeper. She enjoyed sewing clothes for her daughters, going camping, and fishing with her husband.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Geraldine, brothers Terry and Kenny, Sister Gloria, Daughter Jamee, and Granddaughter Rogene. Connie is survived by Husband James, Daughter Dianna, Son-in-law Joseph, Grandchildren Gennipher (Chris), James, Brenda, Hailey (Charlie), Shyla, Sierra, Shadow (Alexis), 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, Siblings Sandra Caldwell, Donald Jr, Russell, and Darren.

Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Always there when needed, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.

A memorial service for Connie will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
