Darlene lived a life centered on family, resilience and love.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Her legacy is carried on through her five children, fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her care, wisdom and enduring spirit.
Darlene is survived by her husband Tommy Tony Carter Jr. of 39 years, her children, Donald Oliver (Kim Oliver), Audre Oliver, Timothy Greenhaw (Virginia Greenhaw) and Tammy Mancha (Miguel Mancha). She is preceded in death by son, Ronald William Oliver, whom she held close in her heart throughout her life.
Before her retirement, she worked as a district manager for the Review-Journal.
Her life was a testament to perseverance, compassion and the deep bond of her family.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered by everyone who knew and loved her.
