

Davy was born on March 15, 1956 at UMC Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. His parents were Clifford D. Key, Sr. and Rosemary Key. Davy was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He had one sister, Lora Michelle Key. Davy was constantly involved in activities with his sister. Davy and Lora may have had the typical rivalries while growing up, but Davy was always consistently loyal to his family.
Davy took part in football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. When he wasn't playing or watching sports, he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Davy's memorable achievements included many sports awards. However, what Davy enjoyed most was simply playing and spending time with his many friends. He graduated from Western High School in 1974.
He was employed by the Nevada Test Site prior to being an appraiser. Davy worked hard to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
His favorite pursuits were riding motorcycles, especially his Harley. Davy was content to enjoy his hobbies alone but was also willing to share his interests with others. Davy was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. Davy’s favorites were J. B. and Mo, both Lab-Retriever mixs and Wrigley, a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
Davy fought a brave battle against Leukemia. He is survived by his mom, Rosemary Key; his sister, Lora Michelle Key; and his niece, Cheyenne Willits. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary. Davy was laid to rest in Palm Northwest Memorial Park in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was committed to living the life of a good man who was both practical and trustworthy. He was committed to the traditional values that he upheld his entire life. He committed himself to being a hard worker who expected the same effort in return from those around him. Most of all, he was committed to those he knew and loved.
