Deb was our friend and bookkeeper for many years.  Her laugh was infectious - like a little girl, pure joy.  We loved seeing her every day when she worked with us, and as often as possible when she left.  She always brightened our day, made us feel special and loved.  We miss her terribly, but know her Spirit is always with us.

Though one life passes, another grows stronger. There is a sparkle in your daughters eye that can only be contributed to you. Her strength, courage, and loving heart were all things you taught her. We feel as though you are always with us, to push us through another day, create a new adventure. There will not be a day that passes you are not in our hearts. I wish I had been one of those people to have shared her life more, she was the most wonderful person I knew, and to know her again was a joy, Deb helped me remember our times, I can only thank the time I had to know her.

Words never seem to be able to carry the message of love we have for you!  I am certain in my spirit that you are in a loving and free place to minister to your family and the ones you love.   I will always remember your life of joy and cheerfulness and of great adventure and FUN!  Each tree we plant here at the orchard will be planted in honor of you!  Oh!  I had a dream about you and Mary and me, and of course a train of people, where we were going from place to place to try new things, taste new things, and see new things!  We even got kicked out of a young couple's luxurious wedding suite where we were swimming in their in-room swimming pool!   Oh you are SO missed and SO loved by many. Happy Mothers Day Mommy! I wish with all of my heart that I could have hugged you and spent the whole day with you on a new adventure. Telling you "I miss you more" is more real than I ever imagined it could be. The void that has been left in my heart will never be filled. I will always remember your beautiful smile, your free spirited laugh, your  comforting voice and most importantly the unconditional love you had for me. I will be forever grateful for everything that you have sacrificed, provided, and taught me. My selfish heart is broken and wishes you were here with me. Deb you were loved by so many and are  truly missed. It was with much sadness that we had to say good buy. We will remember the good times.  Like making Fairy houses in Marysvale, Ut.

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love.
 We are mourning the loss of Deb from our family circle. Such a loss leaves a vacant place in our hearts and lives. For those whose lives are closely knit it is almost unbearable. Being a cousin, I wasn't privileged to be close to Deb not by choice but by circumstance of distance and time. I was however able to keep up with the family news by proxy, so to speak, thru my Mom (Aunt Ella). Always news of the Lamkin Girls, Debs children Cassie and Christina and their families too. My fondest memory of her  takes me back to our childhood. She was visiting San Diego with Uncle Bud and Aunt Sue. I was 13 and she was 5 years younger. I had just gotten my horse. We spent the day at the farm where my horse was boarded having a great time. We rode and laughed...two horse lovers soaking up the grandness of being horsey. We shared that love and also our birthdays...Both of us born on July 13th. She had the best laugh and sense of humor. I can only imagine Deb and my Dad (Uncle Don)having a conversation meeting up right now Dad saying "Deb, What are you doing here?" Deb answering, "It's a surprise all right. I guess I'll be getting the place ready for those who are coming later..." 
I know she will be there to meet us at the gate.

There are so many wonderful things about Debbie and how fully she lived her life. Her sense of humor always tickled me. She would introduce me as her "oldest friend" explaining that she hadn't known me the longest, I was really "the OLDEST" friend. I'll smile everytime I think of her.

Not a day, hour, second or moment goes by that your not in my thoughts mommy. Your the biggest piece of my heart... After all, it came from you. Nothing will ever be the same without you here. The hole in my heart will never be filled. Nothing can or will ever replace the relationship we had. If only I could hug you, kiss you, touch you.... One last time. Just for a moment. I long for the day you can reach out to me and touch me. I long for the day I can feel you around me. 

I can only hope you are surrounded by fields of lavender with some puppies, chickens, and goats by your side. The succulents will always be there to remind me of you. Everything reminds me of you.

Missing you today as much as when you departed.  You were my only sister in this physical life and my true trustworthy confidant in spirit. I am grateful to have known Debbie for 49 years, growing up in Palm Springs/Cathedral City.  Debbie was always giving and kind. She lived in the moment, loved to play, appreciated nature and made every time together Fun.  I will forever remember her laughter and fun times together, and her fearless spirit.  All my love and support to her family!

Very sorry to hear of Debbi's passing. We grew up next to each other in Cathedral City in the 50's. My name is Denise Pika (now Williamson) My condolences to everyone in the family.

My heart and thoughts go out to Deb's Mom and Dad, to her girls, and to Mary.  My favorite memory of Deb is dressed as Mother Nature at one of the many wonderful events she and Mary shared with us.  I'm so grateful to have spent a bit of time with Deb recently, where we hugged and wispered sweet nothings about gardens and friendships, and busy lives.  She was a very special, strong, loving mother-nature goddess.  She will be missed.
