Dietrich Lipowitz, 54 of Las Vegas, passed away July 7, 2011 at his home. He was born Oct. 20, 1956 in Aichelberg, Germany. His passion was flying, he was "Living th Dream" as a Sun Country pilot for 27 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon, and 3 daughters, Annelise, Emma and Maddie, who he loved more than life itself, also a brother and 2 sisters, several nieces and nephews and friends around the world. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summit at Sun City Summerlin, 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd., Las Vegas, NV. A second Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 100 p.m. at the Sun Country Hanger, Minneapolis Airport.
