

Donald Lee Onorato, Sr., 72, a retired warehouse casino supervisor of Las Vegas, passed away on March 25, 2015. He was born June 14, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Nevada since 1975. He served in the US Army in 1961. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #2353 and the Red Rock Moose Lodge #252. He enjoyed card and board games with cribbage being his favorite, and making people laugh with his joke telling. What Don loved the most was traveling with his family in their motor home across the United States. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lillian Onorato, and three brothers, Raymond, Charles and James Onorato. Don is survived by his wife, Harriet Onorato; daughter, Rhonda Onorato (Ermal Manos); son, Donald Onorato, Jr. (Trisha); granddaughter, Jennifer Hyatt (Casey); great-grandchildren, Weston and Alice Hyatt; sisters, Jean and Geraldine Thompson, Doris Ferry, and Linda Griffith; brother, Richard Onorato; and all of his extended daughters and sons, Evan (Joey), Annette (Kirk), Donita (Jack) and Michael (Chrissy). A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 5pm at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
