

Dorothy Hiebler, affectionately known as Dot, passed away peacefully at her home on September 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 93 years old. Dot was a devoted mother to six children, leaving behind a legacy of love through her three surviving children, Sherry Pitt, Terry Oliver, and Cathy Wagner. She was also a proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren and a beloved great-grandmother to many, who will forever cherish her memory.
Dot was a vibrant presence in the lives of countless family members, including numerous nieces and nephews. Her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit touched everyone she encountered, making her a cherished friend and confidante to many.
A member of the “Unforgettables,” a close-knit group of her high school classmates, Dot held dear the lifelong friendships she cultivated. The group regularly gathered to celebrate their enduring bond, a testament to her love of connection and community.
In her earlier years, Dot volunteered alongside her late husband, Ken, at the Elks Lodge, where they shared their time and generosity with others. Her passion for service and her ability to bring joy to those around her made her a beloved figure in her community.
Dot's legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will surely be missed by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us of the joy she brought into our lives. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where all are invited to share their cherished memories of Dot.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to a charity of your choice, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others.
