Eli Eli Augustine Lopez "Lee" A. Lopez

Lee Augustine Lopez was the son of Margarito and Theodorita Lopez. Eli Augustine Lopez was raised in Arboles, Colorado. During his childhood he learned to be reliable and respectful. Eli Augustine Lopez was an obedient child who wanted to win the favor of others. He found it easy to show sympathy and to perform kind acts for others. These admirable qualities would become a part of Eli Augustine Lopez's personality throughout his life. Eli Augustine Lopez was raised with eight siblings. He had three older brothers Tony, Dan, and Richard, two younger brothers Rudy and Pete, and his three sisters Florence, Elisda, and Angelina. Eli Augustine Lopez and his siblings had the typical rivalries while growing up, but they cared deeply for one another. When Eli Augustine Lopez made friends, he made true and lasting friendships. While growing up, some of his best friends were his own cousins George Espinoza, Manuelito Martinez and Tony Martinez. Eli Augustine Lopez cared for what others thought and carried that into his marriage. Compassionate and devoted, Eli Augustine Lopez worked hard to make his new life partner happy. Eli Augustine Lopez was blessed with four children, three sons John, Bill and Ted, and one daughter Gloria. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Patricia, Steve, Joanna, Leanna ,Tony, Leah, Shana ,and Daniel. He was always conscious of the feelings others had. He was reasonable and understanding. As a result, Eli was quick to solve disputes and did so without much fuss. His secret of success in this area was simple: Eli Augustine Lopez would listen before he would act. Eli Augustine Lopez passed away on March 14, 2013 at Nathan Adelson Hospice. Congestive Heart Failure. He is survived by his children John, Gloria, and Tod, his brothers Pete and Rudy, and his sister Ida Services were held at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Eli Augustine Lopez was laid to rest in Rose Cemetery in Arboles Colorado. Everyone whose life he touched will miss Lee Augustine Lopez.
