ELLIS DEAN JACKSON, 71, “Butch” to his loving family & friends, peacefully passed away on Friday, 11/27/15, with his devoted wife by his side. Butch was born on 12/31/1943 in Maywood, CA, the only child of Dean and Fern Jackson. He was married on 10/25/1963 and moved to Las Vegas several years later, where he & his wife, Jewell have lived since. Butch is survived by his beloved wife of 52 loving years, Jewell; their son Randall Dean “Randy”; daughter-in-law Stefanie and 3 grandchildren, Caitlin 24, Courtney 22, and Richard 17. Butch was a retired carpenter. He loved the desert and motorcycling & dirt bike riding and hunting & shooting. He enjoyed relaxing cruise vacations with his wife and family & friends, and just spending good times with his loved ones. Most of all, Butch loved his three grandchildren and was an absolutely devoted “Papa”. He will be very sorely missed. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, 12/11 at Palm Mortuary Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM.
