Elsie Laura Fresquez

Elsie Laura Fresquez, of Las Vegas, passed in peace and grace on Friday July 17th 2015 at the age of 97. Elsie is preceded in death by her loving husband Manuel Fresquez, brothers and sisters, Rosana "Rose" Martinez (Ernest), Phil Lovato (Rebecca), George Lovato (Eva), Kate Lobo (Raymond), Edna Sena (Enos). She is survived by her sister Gloria Romero (Juan). Loving mama of five daughters, Mary Bosnos (Kostas), Linda Ocker, Nancy Prine and Bryan, Pauline "PeeNee" Fresquez and Poncha Fresquez. Elsie was proud of her six grandchildren George Bosnos (Michele), Jason Bosnos (Rebecca), Johnny Prine and partner Bleyer, Ericka Quabner (Kelly), Randy Ocker (Candise), and Dustin. Her great-grandchildren, Alysia, Nicholas, Sofia, Madeleine, Colton, Cody, Lorana, Bailey, Chloe, Skylar, Brianna, Gabriela, Makayla, Leia, and one grandchild due in September and the many nieces and nephews and extended family members plus many, many friends. Elsie will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a lovely Mama, Grandma, Tia, and friend. She was appreciated for all her humor, wit and blunt conversational nature. She really exemplified the true meaning of a mama and grandmother by her delicious cooking, handmade quilts and other personally crafted from the heart. She loved her fruit trees, garden, turtle collection, doggies, Moscato and interacting with complete strangers turning them into longtime friends and some cases her adopted members of the family. Her zest life will be missed by many.
