Evelyn Frances Stepney

She was born to Clarence and Audrey Martin on August 20, 1942 and spent her childhood in Buffalo, New York. On August 10, 1961, she married Frank Stepney, Capt. USAF retired. Together over 60 years, they had 2 children while they traveled the world. She loved her family and was most proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Evelyn earned Bachelor of Arts and Masters degrees in Social Work (1994/1996) at University of Las Vegas and worked in the field of Social Work until she retired.

She is survived by her loving husband Frank Stepney, daughters, Lisa and Bernadette Stepney (Shawn) Ferguson, grandchildren Colin (Felicia) Stepney, Ashlyn, Shalyn, as well as great grandchildren, Arianna, Braxton, Alexander, and Mila. Also siblings George (Shirley) Martin, Michael, Margaret (Thomas) Parrott and Stephen (Angela) Martin.

She is preceded in death by her parents Audrey and Clarence Martin, her brother Clarence Martin Jr. and her infant son Joseph Stepney.

Evelyn’s loving heart and smile were a beacon of light for her family and friends. We hope that you will keep her memory alive in your heart forever.

The service will be held at Palm Mortuary at 1325 North Main Street, Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, April 7th at 11:00.
