

Felicitas Peralta Cristi was born to her parents Casiano and Dorothea Peralta on November 23, 1924. She was raised in San Mateo Rizal, Philippines with two siblings, an older sister, Trinidad, and a younger brother, Santos. Even as a child, Felicitas had the ability to lift the spirits of all those around her. She was raised to be warm, caring and friendly. She was a member of the church choir, where her future husband, Felino noticed her. Felicitas' memorable achievements included being nominated "Miss" Liwayway, a Philippine Magazine, when she was 16 years old. Felicitas graduated from Rizal High School in Pasig, Philippines in 1940. She went on to earn her Associates degree in teaching. In 1943 Felicitas exchanged wedding vows with Felino Tolentino Cristi at Nuestra Senora de Aranzasu Catholic Church of San Mateo Rizal, Philippines. Felicitas was blessed with ten children, four sons, Wilfredo, Florencio, Brando, and Eric; and six daughters, Elvira, Marilyn, Elnora, Bernadette, FlorAnn, and Veronica. She also helped raise her eldest niece, Cora, who was like the eldest daughter. They were also blessed with 15 grandchildren, Jennifer, Cathy, Christine, Marc, Rhea, Jeffrey, Mitzi, Samantha, Sarah, Seth, Cristian, Kevin, Sherry, Dorothy, and Edison. Felicitas passed away on September 28, 2012 at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by her children Elvira, Wilfredo, Marilyn, Brando, Elnora, Bernadette, and FlorAnn; her grandchildren Jennifer, Cathy, Christine, Rhea, Marc, Jeffrey, Mitzi, Samantha, Sarah, Seth, Kevin, and Cristian; Ate Cora, who was like a daughter to her, and her husband Kuya "Uncle" Eddie, and their children Sherry, Dorothy, and Edison. Services were held at Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery. Felicitas was laid to rest in Palm Northwest Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada.
