FRANCIS MCCONNELL was born March 18, 1934, in Canton, Pa. He grew up in Michigan, and worked many years as an administrator at Bronson Methodist Hospital. In 1991, he retired and moved to Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McConnell; his son, Kevin McConnell; and his sister, Mary Gard. He is survived by his daughters, Kate Marcus and Karen Williams, both of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Chuck McConnell of Cleveland, and Don McConnell of Springhill, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Kayla and Leah Marcus and Kendall and Kevin Williams, all of Tampa. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 8901 Del Webb Blvd. in Las Vegas. In the fall, Ray will be laid to rest along with his wife, Mary, in Kalamazoo, Mich., alongside Kevin McConnell. A local memorial service will be held at that time.
