

Frank G. Pineira, 79, died unexpectedly due to complications from surgery on October 28, 2021, at a Las Vegas hospital. He was born May 4th, 1942 in Downey California, the son of Frank and Marion (Perez) Pineira.
Frank graduated from Excelsior High School, Class of 1960. He then continued his education and graduated from College with an Associates Degree in Political Science.
Frank retired at age 65 after 30 years of service as a Truck Driver for Roadway. He was a teamster, servicing as a Trustee at Local 952 until his retirement. He had a passion for boxing and was a Board Member of the World Boxing Hall of Fame.
This is a tremendous loss for all who knew Frank. Frank was a very giving man. If you needed a hand he was the first to offer his assistance. Frank never met a stranger in his life. He treated everyone with kindness and welcomed everyone as if they were family. With a sense of humor that kept you laughing for hours, you couldn't help but find a special place in your heart for this incredible man. Our hearts hurt deeply for this loss.
In addition to his parents and sisters, Hope and Carmen, he was predeceased by his wife Helen (Kimmis) Pineira. Surviving, in addition to his son Scott and Virginia (Tartaglio) Pineira, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and his niece, Belinda.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Orange County, California.
For those who wish to remember Frank in a special way, gifts may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Association. Frank donated generously in memory of his late wife and other family members that were taken from him due to this horrible disease.
