I can't believe it's been 7 yrs, Frankie, you are so very missed.  I think of you often.  

I can hardly believe my cousin Frankie has been gone from all of us for 2 years. Here's to 'happier times', cuz. And the nice thing is that looking back, there were so very many 'happier times' to reflect upon. Frankie and I came from the same hometown and went to Catholic elementary school at St Ann's School in Farrell, Pennsylvania for 8 years. I remember the day he told me that he and his family were going to be moving to LA and he'd be going to 9th grade out in Van Nuys, California! It all sounded so glamorous and all us kids were 'green with envy'.

When I arrived in Las Vegas in back in 1977, Frankie was living on his own and was 'semi-retired' on his post office disability pension.  Back in those days, in the group of guys we hung around with Frankie was admired for his sense of humour, his easy-going attitude and especially his fun-loving spirit. Those were such great days! We'd drink a cocktail called a 'Cuba Libra'  -   it had to be made only with white Bacardi Rum, ice and Coca-Cola with a squeeze of fresh lime. Frankie got me hooked on Cuba Libra's which I must say, to this day I cannot drink one without thinking back about the fun times I shared with Frankie. What a great guy he was.

I miss him very much. I know Frankie really loved life and he would want us to carry on enjoying our lives and, of course, go out and celebrate his life, too. From Frankie's cousin Mark Brestelli

Pam, very sorry for your Loss. Frankie was a very funny guy, so many fun stories on our breaks at the old MGM. Every Christmas Frankie would show up with his lighted necklace and Santa Hat, he was a pleasure to work with. Frankie will be missed by everyone that knew him.

I remember Frankie as a fun loving creative man.  I'm sure heaven is a happening place because of him.

Frankie was like the brother I never had. He was my mentor and led me to the gateway of the finer things in life of which I knew little. He helped me purchase my first Pulsar digital watch (in Century City) that was all the rage in the 70's (I still have it) and I always admired his Cartier tank watch and years later obtained one of my own. He also wore a diamond pinky ring that I later emulated. He was easily the poster child of the term "Rock Star" long before the term was coined. Tall, long blond hair and handsome, he epitomized the visual image of one, and convincingly so.

I remember his whole drum kit fitting into the back of his yellow Pinto station wagon he drove in the 70's. He was a class act throughout his life...a true gentleman's gentleman. We once went to a concert together at the Hollywood Bowl with an unlikely line up of the following bands: Captain Beyond, Jo Jo Gunn & Alice Cooper as the headliner. 

Frankie also introduced me to the game of golf, perhaps golf was a component that led to relocating to Las Vegas. We used to play at the Tropicana golf course and drink Budwiser together.

I remember Frankie moving to Las Vegas and thinking what could he possibly do up there ALL of the time? Vegas was a place you went to and left it there in the middle of the desert until the next time.

Frankie began dealing 21 downtown and worked his way up to the Strip to finally end up as a boss at the fabulous Venetian Hotel. Although it wasn't clear to me then, it was obvious he had "grown up" and left the music game for good; but every ten years or so, would come down to LA and jam with the original members of a progressive rock band we had called "Axis".
 
Frankie was in a class of his own, he stood with me as my best man at my wedding in 1990. And like a brother, supported me and gave me life advise like an older brother should. I shall always remember him and keep him in my heart. Frankie was the nicest man I've ever known, see you on the other side dear friend.

My heart goes out to all the family and friends of Frankie. You will be missed. May you rest in peace.

Dear Pam,
   I am so sorry for your loss. Frankie was the most genuine, kind hearted soul I have ever encountered. He always had such a beautiful smile on his face and sweet words for everyone. I know he is in God's arms watching over you and all his loved ones from above.  May you find peace in knowing how many people loved your sweet Frankie. He was the best and I will miss him so very much.

I met Frankie in PA in the early 1960's and we remained great friends through the years!  In the early years we saw each other daily, then Frankie and his family moved to Van Nuys, CA in 1967.  Our visits became less frequent but no matter how long or short the time apart, our friendship picked right back up as if we saw each other the day before.  The best thing that happened to Frankie was the day Pam came into his life.  My heart goes out to Pam and Frankie's family in this deep loss of such a kind and loving person.  I am blessed to have known him and I will always love him.  Say hello to your Grandma & Grandpa Crivello, Uncle Jimmy, and your dad (Huck) & mom (Rita) they all hold special places in my heart & life.

You made the world a better place, Frankie. I'm so thankful to have known you. My deepest sympathy to your wife and family.
