Franklin was the son of the late Franklin Lee Patrick and Ada Mae Patrick- Brotherton, both now deceased. He was raised locally and graduated from Green Valley High School in 1993. He enjoyed playing baseball and football. In recognition for his football prowess, he was offered a scholarship to attend college. He worked for Firestone Company for ten years before accepting a position as a customer service representative with MTM services. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle grandson, cousin and friend who was known as an avid sports fan. He was loyal to the “Browns” and therefore brown and orange were his favorite colors. Franklin was ever watchful of his children and grandchildren. His love was demonstrated by his consistent hand in their upbringing. His family and friends will all greatly miss him.
Cherishing his memory are: his wife, Amy Smith; his six children, Kabrina, Kadreana, and Kijuan Patrick, Raymond Benford, Demetri Flowers and Ariana Kanuha; his grandchildren, Nyair and Nivell Scott, Mika’ele Kanuha and Jonathan Strong; his brothers and sisters, Melody Carter (Mark Carter), Michael Tappin, Tony and John Willoughby, Hope Patrick (Louis Collins), Frankie Patrick and Francis Patrick Haley (Leroy Haley III); grandmother, Bertha Patrick; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
