Frederick Thomas Sullivan

Frederick Sullivan died peacefully on October 13, 2015 surrounded by his entire family at the age of 82. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Queens, New York. Fred had a 30 year distinguished career with the Long Island Railroad. Fred and Patricia raised their 5 children in West Islip on Long Island before retiring to Las Vegas in 1989. Fred is preceded in death by his parents Adeline and Joseph and his older brother Joseph. Fred is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia, 3 daughters; Kathleen (Steven), Karen (Tom), and Jean (Wayne); 2 sons, Michael (Marie) and Christopher (Tara); 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Thomas (Marylou) and Robert (Ann); many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15 from 4-7pm. at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S Jones Blvd. The Funeral Mass service will be held at St Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W Sahara Ave. Friday, October 16th at 10am. The burial will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV on Monday, October 19th at 10:40am. Arrangements under the direction of Palm South Jones Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
