I am so glad I was able to hug and laugh with my north Bergen childhood friend. We spent enough time reminiscing never knowing this would be the last visit. I loved Gail and her mother Charlotte who was like a second mom. Bob and your whole family.   I'm heartbroken.

We are so sorry to hear of Gail's' passing. It was Gail that introduced me to the world of duet playing and those memories will be forever cherished. We laughed more than we played. There will always be a missing note at our piano club. She always said I was instrumental in bringing Codee into their lives but I felt it was really their destiny. We love you and miss you.

Deb- agree, missing her a lot.  We had so many great talks.  Any big life moment i ran by her- she was a great listener and advice giver.  More importantly she was a genuine person and friend.  I never felt there were that many years between us- b/c we were so much alike.  We used to joke that I got switched at birth and i must be HER daughter :)  i miss her so very much.

I love all your stories and great memories you had with my Mom.  She was truly special.  I lost my best friend, missing her more than words can say.

More memories of Gail....my message got cut off.  I remember Bob & Gail going for line dancing classes - priceless.  Gail would send pictures of Reese & Reagan saying how wonderful they were (I'd agree), then I'd send pictures of Gavin & Madelyn saying how wonderful they were (and Gail would agree).  We had fun with that.  It's an awful thing to realize we all won't be able to see her or talk to her anymore.  She was a special lady.

You were one of those special people to come into my life, a gift. Thank you for that and all the fun chats we had busing to and from NYC in the 80's. You made me smile, laugh and enjoy your company.

Gail was a wonderful friend, lots of fun, very smart, if I would get upset about something she knew just what to say to me. I will miss all our talks & dinners together. My heart goes out to her wonderful family. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I have fond memories of Gail from when I lived down the street from the Stivale family.  As a kid, I thought she worked for the actual Daily Planet!  Wonderful lady, may she rest in peace.

I was truly blessed to have been able to call Gail my mother-in-law. She was a rare person, always positive and supportive to the ones she loved.  She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend.

So sorry to hear the news of Gail's passing.  She was truly a gem.  Sunday nights watching The Amazing Race and picking teams just won't be the same.  Since I am on the East Coast, and would view it before her, she'd always text to find out what happened.
