George Randall Jameson

Born June 11, 1943, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife Arline. Randy leaves behind his sister Lori, two sons Christopher and Martin, along with 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Randy loved history and in his youth was a piano player with a preference for classical music. He enjoyed duck, dove, quail and deer hunting. He was an avid golfer and snow skier, often taking his 2 sons on weeklong ski trips.

In his early years Randy worked many different jobs ranging from Milk delivery to Young Electric Sign Company. Later in life he dabbled in car sales and graphic design. He spent most of his adult life working in the Gaming Industry. While working at the Flamingo Hotel, he became one of the youngest Pit Bosses. He also worked at the Las Vegas Hilton as a Floor Man, while at The Dunes and Luxor he returned to being a dealer. Then moved to Mandalay Bay as a Floor Man where he retired.

He had a close relationship with his mother, Marion, and they would embark on many projects including building a family home in Cedar City, UT, where he enjoyed his retirement years.

A visitation for George will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A funeral service will occur Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A committal service will occur Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
