

Gordon Danser, a beacon of love and strength, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 85, after a courageous battle with multiple health issues.
His legacy of devotion, and resilience will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved him. Born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Borden, IN. Gordon's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and perseverance.
Survived by his devoted wife. Lucille Danser, of 62 years.
Gordon's love for her was a shining example of true devotion. If he was with her, he was happy!
He is preceded in death by his beloved daughters, Denise Van Ornum husband Steve Van Ornum and Liana Morgan, as well as his father Franklin Danser, mother Mary Danser, sister Mary Ellen Krik, and brothers Frank Danser and Mike Danser.
He is survived by his brother Fred Danser, grandchildren Bryan Danser, husband Rob Golden, Donnie Morgan, wife Daisy Morgan, Brooke Costello, husband Collin Costello, Robin Van Ornum and great-great-granddaughter Kathryn Salas.
Gordon was a proud veteran of the Army, honorably discharged on July 31, 1964.
With a career spanning 36 years at GE Company in Albuquerque, NM, he retired as Senior Methods Engineer as Gordon's dedication and problem-solving skills were highly valued. While living in Albuquerque, NM, he and Lucille raised their two beautiful daughters. He built a respected career and retired, as a Senior Methods Engineer.
His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for RV travel with his family and friends. The group they traveled with was,
"The We Be's”. Which he named. Together they made many beautiful memories.
Anyone that knew him knew his love and passion for the NFL, Kansas City Chiefs. He was a true fan.
His quick wit and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
As we celebrate Gordon's life, we remember his quiet strength, grace, and dignity. He never complained with his serious health problems.
His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
To Lucille, Gordon's beloved wife, we offer these words of comfort: "You may not have been able to spend the rest of your life with Gordon, but he got to spend the rest of his life with you. With that, he left this life, happy. There is definite beauty in that!
