

Harold was an amazing person, who was loved by all. He had a sense of humor like no other. He married his love of his life Karalee Pam Devaney, July 15, 1967, they were married for 46 years,"They where inseparable." He is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Karalee DeBrish Beatie and her husband, Brian; son, Christophser A King and his wife Gail; granddaughter, Kimberlee 27; grandson, Jeffrey 23; grandson, Chris Jr. 23; grandson, Cody 19; granddaughter, Crista 18; granddaughter, Amanda 14; great granddaughter, Andrea 3 months; brother, Paul King and his wife, Kiyono; brother, Gary King; sister, Valerie Mitchell and husband, Steve. Harold was born March 22, 1942 in Oakland, CA. He graduated from Alhambra High, Martinez CA. He was well known as "Doc" on the "Alhambra Dogs" football team. He served in the Army in the early sixties. He loved watching all sports and he was a big time Oakland Raiders fan. Harold's favorite pass time was bowling, and hiking the Valley of Fire and Zion National Park. He loved to explore new places. He was a Hawaiian at heart and took many trips to the islands. You could always catch him wearing his Hawaiian shirts. He was the best grandpa in the world. After retiring, as a long time teamster, Harold and Pam moved to Las Vegas. He became bored and went back to work for Costco part time, starting in Summerlin and transferring to Centennial Costco.He worked for Costco for 8 years. As a husband, father, grandpa and a friend we will miss your warm smile, and the big heart you had for all of us, always taking the time to be there for us. He passed away July 17 fighting the battle of cancer. in lieu of flowers please donate to your local "American Cancer Society".
