Ian P. Sheil

Ian Padraic Sheil, 43, Paramedic, a Las Vegas native passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. He was born December 14, 1970 to Jill (Pinholt) and the late Patrick Sheil. Ian was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and grandson. He touched countless hearts throughout his life and was a friend to all. He will be remembered for his kindness, joy of life and never fading smile that would light up any room. Ian loved his wife, his children, his family, his friends and his career; giving aid to the sick and injured. He was “a true example of dedication to our trade,” as described by his co-workers. Ian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Mark Sheil and Mary Frances Sheil- his father Patrick James Sheil- his uncle, Greg Pinholt. He is survived by his wife, Perla Sheil, his children, Camryn and Colin Sheil, his mother and stepfather, Jill and Jack Schreiner, his sister Seana Sheil, his brother Jack Stuart, his grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Pinholt, and numerous aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3-7pm Friday April 11 at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street. Funeral Service will be 1pm on Saturday, April 12 at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street. Immediately following Graveside Service at 3pm at Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park, 1216 Las Vegas Boulevard North in Las Vegas, Nevada.
