Jackie was born on February 7, 1946, in the Bronx, New York, to Calogero and Francis Moscato. On June 19, 1966, she married Richie, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Jackie's pursuit of knowledge led her to earn a bachelor's degree from the College of New Rochelle. Despite the challenges of working full-time, she also dedicated herself to studying 1 year at St. John's University School of Law. Her determination and commitment were evident as she successfully balanced being a wife, amazing mother, and student. For many years, Jackie's professional journey was rooted in the legal field until she became one of the founding employees at Roseman University of Health Sciences. Her dedication and contributions to the institution were invaluable, and she continued to serve until her retirement on June 30, 2023.
Above all, Jackie's greatest source of pride and joy was her daughter and best friend, Debbie. Through the loving bond they shared, Debbie gifted Jackie with the immeasurable joy of being a grandmother to Anthony, who became the center of her world.
In her leisure time, Jackie found delight in attending plays, movies, and dinners, relishing the company of friends and family. She was an ardent supporter of her nephews' band, "The Bronx Wanderers," and her enthusiasm for the Golden Knights hockey team was unwavering, rarely missing a game. Sunday family dinners held a special place in Jackie's heart, especially when her nephews and niece, the Adinolfi’s, could join them. These gatherings were cherished moments of connection and love.
Jackie’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her loving husband, Richie; her devoted daughter, Debbie Oddo; and her adored grandson, Anthony Oddo.
Services honoring Jackie's life will be held on October 21, 2023, at Palm Mortuary. Visitation will take place from 2-4 PM, followed by a service from 4-5 PM.
