

Jaelan Jonson Fajardo was born on October 9th, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the age of 16, on Thursday, February 9th, 2017, he passed away. He was pronounced dead at UMC Trauma Center at 7:09 A.M. He was on his way to school, stopped at a red light, and got rear-ended by an impaired driver which resulted in his death. He is survived by his close family members. This includes Marcia Jonson Fajardo: his mother, Alani Marie Jonson Fajardo and Aleah Isabelle Fajardo: his only sisters, Allan Paytone Fajardo: his father, and James Tierney: his step-father. Jaelan was an amazing athlete. He played soccer during his younger years up until high school. He was in JROTC in his freshman year of high school. He was also a superb student, maintaining straight A’s throughout most of his school years. As a sophomore in high school, he was also receiving mail from colleges and getting scholarship offers. The last school he attended was Shadow Ridge High School. Jaelan really loved fashion and style. He wanted to be named with the “Best Hair” award for his school. Also, he wanted to win the “Best Car” superlative. He also enjoyed gaming, and spent a lot of his time with his Xbox. Jaelan loved spending time with his close friends and family. He also really enjoyed running. His last memorials will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017, for a visitation and viewing from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89131.
