CMSgt. (Retired) James H. Mitchell, Jr. passed away Friday, August, 19, 2016 at the age of 85. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the USAF for 28 years. Jim is survived by his wife of 63, Catherine, sons, James (Regina) and Patrick, daughters, Doris and Susan, granddaughter, Angela, and grandson, Kevin. Affectionately known as “Chief” by his family and extended family he arrived at Nellis AFB in 1968 and remained a resident of Las Vegas after his retirement in 1978.
