It’s one year later…..It don’t even seem like you’ve been gon this long. I miss you everyday. I wish we still had our talks. I miss everything life’s not the same without you. There’s not a day that goes by that ion think abt u, love u, miss u….im hurting so bad idk what else to say. I hope you’re resting in heaven. Til we meet again ❤️

Who knew my momma would pass away unexpectedly on 11/23/23 (Thanksgiving Day)! So many family losses since 2020 is so overwhelming! 😥 I pray I’m able to see all of my loved ones again in Heaven!🙏🏾❤️

Another truly wonderful person gone way too soon.   Jaslyn was the nicest, kindest, most sincere  person I've ever met.    She was born with some unfortunate health problems but she never let it stop her.     Always intelligent and on point.   Always willing to help anybody who needed help.     Always sharing jokes, words of wisdom, and advice.   I used to travel a lot and she would comment on the pics I posted.  We always used to talk about traveling.   So many countries she wanted to travel to.   I am at a loss for words.       I hope death is just the end of our mortal journey and the beginning of another truly wonderful journey.    "May the souls of our deceased cherished ones always know true happiness wherever they might be relaxing."  

I always loved how you loved me for me you were a diva like me and always came slay to family functions, to parties, on Instagram jus everything. Honestly like the older sister I’ve never had. I’ll never forget our talks, and the photos we share together along wit many memories. Bro imma miss you this is so unfair but at least you don’t have to suffer anymore. Til we meet again

I always cherish the type of Friendship we had as little girls you was always tryna keep me out of trouble … you had the right words and prayers to say I always ask you what God told you today about me lol  … your soul was soo lovely in Pier .as adults we didn’t talk like that but I do love you forever and always lalagee

Wow! We’re speechless and heartbroken to hear of  your sudden passing! We watched you from an infant in 93 grow into a Beautiful and Intelligent young Woman! We spent many birthdays and family holidays with you! It’s not going to be the same not seeing and talking to you. You were so kind, respectful and a gentle spirit! We searched through our family photos and found these. We made you a video that is too large to upload but it will be shared with the family! We are so Blessed that God allowed us enjoy your presence while we had you! You don’t have suffer anymore our little cousin. I know you have gained your Heavenly Wings. Dearest Smith Family,

I wanted to thank you. Thank you for bringing Jaslyn into this world. She has brought light to so many people, myself included. Thank you for giving me my best friend in middle school, I still have the matching Invader Zim top she bought me! I met her at a very fragile time in my life and she single handedly helped guide me through it. Thank you for giving this world a kind hearted free spirited person. She touched many, inspired, and loved. 

Jaslyn will be missed. This world lost such a beautiful person. But I can’t help but imagine her peaceful in her afterlife. Now we are all lucky to have Jaslyn as an angel to watch over us.

The day  I found my ponytail behind her beanbag chair, because she  didn’t want me to wear anymore. She hated that thing lol 

First time, you did my make up! (I didn’t want foundation so don’t come for Jas lol)

It was literally this time last year where you pretty much talked me off the ledge..me and my kids father just broke up and it was a random weekend of you just saying hello and it turned into a whole therapy session that I did not know I needed. If it was not for you I probably would not be here to write this message to you. You had such a beautiful soul and spirit that you could light up in room you entered. This is super hard for me though we may not have talked often but when we did it felt like we picked up right where we left off without a beat. Healthy debates that we could always have and always bounce back after. I love you Jas ! You will forever hold a special place in my heart

You were a bright light in this world. Anyone who got the chance to meet you , was truly blessed. I am so grateful that I got a chance to experience such a genuine , kind soul. I will never forget our conversations , the joy you brought , and your laughter. I am glad you are no longer suffering but Jas you will truly be missed forever . This is one of our happiest memories. We said we’d return to Hawaii some day, and I am so sorry all our planning and wishing did not come to fruition. I have such good memories that I will cherish of you, Jaslyn. I miss you so much. My sweet Fran I’m sorry I could not do more. I love you so much. Always.

With deep pain I write this . Dearest  Jaslyn was the light of every room she stepped in . Always had nothing but positive thoughts and words to share . Never did you ever hear her complain about anyone or anything. Such a loving caring amazing intelligent individual that contributed to all of our lives . I can say the absence of Jaslyn  is only temporary . In my deep belief she is only asleep as Lazarus was when Jesus woke him , as I know he will awaken jaslyn as well to a beautiful paradise where there will never be sickness nor death nor pain be anymore for the former things have passed away ( Revelation 21:3,4) I ask that you continue to pray for the Smith , Wilkerson family .
