Jason Eugene Newman, 38, of Las Vegas, died suddenly at home Sunday, May 23, 2010. He was born Jan. 20, 1972, in Gunninson, Utah, and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. Jason was a graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, class of 1990; of San Diego State University, with a bachelor of arts in public administration, in 1996; and of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Training, in 1998. Jason was a loving son and brother. He is survived by his mother, Penny Newman; father, David Newman; and brothers, Courtney, Evan and Jeremy Newman. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 28, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Jason's memory, to Bishop Gorman High School, 5959 S.
