Javon made his transition 3/28/2026 peacefully surrounded by his family. Javon was born in Detroit, Michigan. While there he was working as an Assistant Caregiver. But his true passion was being a basketball ball coach. He was truly blessed with the gift because he went on to coach for 21 years carrying on in Vegas. Javon was a very soft spoken man he really didn’t like to be the center of attention. But in his time here he touched so many young people hearts who looked up to him. He was always willing to go that extra mile to help and support. Javon leaves his mother Martha Basnight, his stepfather Bruce Marlow, his brother Jeffrey Matthews and aunts, cousins and friends. Proceeded in death, Bobby Basnight ( father) and Jarvis Basnight (brother)
