Jean Adams Hinkle

Jean was born to the late Buist and Aileen (Sterry) Adams on January 29, 1929 in Ridgetop Tennessee.  She lived her early life in Tennessee and always called it home.

Jean married the love of her life James Hinkle in 1950 in Robertson County Tennessee and went on to have three children, James O. Hinkle III, Patricia Ann Shupp and Barry S. Hinkle.  They lived in many places while James was in the Air Force and when he retired they stayed in Las Vegas and lived a good life. 

Jean was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Jean joins her son James and brothers Larry and Richard and sister Elizabeth in Heaven. 

She is survived by her husband, James, daughter Patricia (Steve), son Barry (Michelle), granddaughter Marci (Buck), grandson Tim and great grandchildren Zach and Trevor as well as sisters Billie, Nancy and Judy. 

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in her name to Nathan Adelson, 4141 University Center Drive, Las Vegas NV 89119.  Graveside services will be held on Friday February 25th, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern, Las Vegas NV 89123.  The family will have a gathering immediately following at Barry’s home, address to be provided if requested.
