Memorial Day reminds us of the sacrifice that so many has made to ensure we  can live the life we have.  You are missed today my brother. From 1995 to 1998 while in the 820th Red Horse unit, you and I were close.  You and your roommate Rob threw the best parties. I often made a stop there before we visited the Runway. Appreciate the cool cat (pun intended) you were bro. Wish I would have been in LV. to say goodbye to you but I will get my chance to say Hello. Miss you, Big George and all the guys. Love you Cat!!

I met Cat on FB. We were both Prince Hall Masons. When I came to visit Las Vegas we met in person.  I enjoyed the time I spent with him just hanging out. At the time he was organizing a book bag collection and I watched him as he called folks in the community, gave out information and just organized.  We talked about our children. We shared pictures and I am a die hard Raider Fan and he was a Steeler fan and I could never convince him otherwise.  I will miss him greatly. My condolences to his Daughters and to his Son. 

Suddenly I realize that the world is a different place without you here my friend. Thank you for that one of a kind heart and soul that touched us all. That finger print of life that made us richer human beings. May you rest in everlasting peace.

I’ve known Jermaine for over 25 years.  He was a dedicated Mason and a person who could be counted on in the trenches.  He loved his kids tremendously and will be missed by all who knew him.  I pray that the family find peace with his lost at their own time and choosing.   As masons we believe in life after death so I know he’s in a better place. I will always remember a Brother who enjoyed old east coast rap, stimulated thought in current and past politics, motivated the meek, cherished family, pounded for Pittsburgh.  He was a timely traveler, tender for Black matters and a hammer for humanity. He will be missed.

First of all I won’t question God I want to thank God. Since meeting CAT on Nellis AFB when he arrived  I found myself pushing away from someone at the end I embraced with true brotherly love. I witnessed CAT grow as life tried him on numerous occasions and he found his way through them, sometimes scared but he came through them. He sought out masonry to develop a true foundation for himself and was a valuable asset to our fraternity. His commitment to helping others showed every year (back to school programs, Thanksgiving Baskets, Children’s Christmas Programs) CAT was lead for many years. We shared a lot of conversation over the years, we shared tears over the years also. CAT gave me a letter and a Masonic coin a few years back thanking me for my support of him over the years, I gave him a big hug and told him the feeling was mutual because my years wouldn’t have been the same with him. My brother, my friend RIP, thank you 🙏🏽 for you, I’ll never be without our memories to keep me smiling.  I’ll miss our Cowboys/Steelers debates, and your sense of humor. Enjoy your reward 😇

Mac, Mac and young Cat, we blaze the road together for a long time from the Runway 21 to New Mexico.  I am lost for words, but just remembering that grin  will always remind me of the laughter time and time again.

            I too am at a lost for words. We had the best versus battles ever in my eyes. We had the East Coast vs Dirty South. I was just thinking back like its been a short 9 years I have known you but, it felt like it has been all my life. You were my sounding board when I was mad, you were my man don't do anything stupid voice. My life will not be the same guy. I hope I can live up to the last words you said to me.... Rest Easy my Friend/Brother until we meet again..... This will be the only time I will ever say this GO STEELERS!!!!!!

Hey bro, its been quite a party. Shocked when I heard the news of your passing. I remember meeting you when you were 18 years old and fresh out of tech school. Even though I was 12 years older than you I welcomed you with open arms to the RED HORSE family. We got in the trenches together and made the most of what we had. We never know when our time is up so to live life to the fullest is what we know. I'm sadden by the loss of a good friend who also helped me along in my journey. I salute you my brother for your battle is over and you can rest easy now. No more suffering and no more pain. From the bottom of my heart, I love you Cat and you will truly be missed!

Man, I can't believe it bro.  You were always cool with me and when I made the move to become a 'living horizontal' you shared wisdom and brotherly love.  The only thing I can think of that makes this jagged pill a little easier to swallow bro, is that I know you are reunited with your little girl Gracie.  I was there for those services and I was standing next to you and I can remember thinking now much of a great example you were to follow cause you set the bar on grace and poise as something to strive for.   My absolute prayers and condolences to your family and to all those who loved you bro.

I remember the first time I saw you in the  hospital nursery  and the first time I held my oldest nephew Jermaine  in my arms.   Words can not express the saddest I have but I will as I always have keep you in my thoughts .  I love and miss you -Maine.   Love Lorraine
