Jimmie Lee Ruffin Sr. was called home on November 17, 2014. He retired after a meaningful career as an International Entertainer. After retiring he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2011. He was proud to be a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was very passionate about all aspects of being an entertainer, singing, dancing and captivating his audience. Jimmie also took great pleasure, and truly loved writing, producing, and creating music in the studio and at home. Guitar and piano were his favorites and it was an intrical part of his life. He is survived by his children Philicia Ruffin, Jimmie Lee Ruffin Jr., Ophelia Ruffin, Camilla Ruffin and Arlet Wright and his grandchildren, Mignon Cherie, Antoine Raynard, Sasha Khaliyah, Aiyanna Lee, Jordan Eli, LeVonn, Alexis, and one great grandchild, Kali-Milan. He is survived by the mothers of his children, his brother, Quincy, numerous family members including cousins, nieces, nephews and several close friends.
