John W. Martensen, age74, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV. John was born March 10, 1936 in Anamosa, Iowa to John P. and Anna C. Martensen. John was a production manager for Control Data Corporation in Bloomington, MN for 22 years. After relocating to Las Vegas John worked at Payless Cashways and part-time at Walmart for an additional 7 years. John enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Janice Martensen, also surviving daughter; Jill Martensen; Grandsons Eric Rowe and Matthew McMillan, Great Grandson Vincent Rowe; Sisters Carol, Beverly, and Janice; Brothers Dean, Marvin, Virgil, Alan and Larry. John is preceded in death by his son Jeff Martensen and brothers Carl and Harold.
