On Thursday, June 1, 2017, John R Watts, 80 years old, went home to be with the Lord. John was born April 30, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. John was the son of his mother Gracie Glover Watts Long and his father John R Watts, Sr. John grew up and was educated in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation from High School, John attended Trinidad College and served in the US Army. John was a long time resident of North Las Vegas. John retired from the City of Las Vegas in the year 2000. John leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Eddie Lucky Watts, and many relatives and friends, and a special friend J.C. Shelby. Services will be held at Gospel Way Covenant Church, 8152 South Saginaw Ave Chicago, IL 60617.
