

Joseph Kotlyn, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away on Tuesday May 17, 2022. He was born March 7, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a resident of Las Vegas for over 30 years. Joseph is a proud and devoted Roman Catholic and a member of St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church and belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Joseph is a proud Navy Veteran who served 3 tours in Vietnam. He dedicated all his time to his family, who he loved more than anything. Joseph is joined in death by his wife of 50 years, Amada Kotlyn. Joseph is survived by his daughters, Michelle Burnette(Lytle) of Las Vegas, Lizette Rice of Ft Worth, Texas, Bridgette (John) De Salvio of Ft Lauderdale, Fl and Tyra (Joe) Cruz of Las Vegas; Brothers Jim Kotlyn, Jeff Kotlyn, and sister Laura Silva “Kotlyn;” 14 grandchildren, George, David, Kenny, Alexis, Austin, Phillip, Alyssa, Amanda, Joey, Desiree, Monique, Jesse, Joe, Johnny; 7 great grandchildren, Giselle, Kylar, Trenton, Jack, Arya, Isabelle and Ady. Joseph’s Funeral will be held on June 9, 2022, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery chapel, in Boulder City, Nevada at 12:00 noon following with Graveside services. Donations can be made to St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church or Vietnam Veterans of America.
