

Born on April 7, 1924 in Rome, Ohio to Nora & Hobart Adams, she had one sibling, an older brother Eugene, who predeceased her in 2007. Nita met the love of her life, Eddie, while working as a secretary at DuPont Chemical in W. VA. They were married on January 23, 1945 in Richmond, VA. During her working years, she was an interior decorator, real estate agent and an incredible mother. After raising their two children in Virginia, they retired to Palm Harbor, Florida where she was 5-time ladies' champion of Tarpon Woods Golf Club in Palm Harbor. She moved to Las Vegas from Florida in 2002.
Here in Las Vegas, Nita was a member of the Los Prados Women's Club, Greater Las Vegas Orchid Society, Red Hat Society, Las Vegas Towne Club and an avid bridge player, and she loved live music and dancing. She was an amazing woman and a great role model for all who knew her.
She is survived by 2 children, 3 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida with her husband Edward who predeceased her in 1998.
