

Judith “Judy” Grabusnik Berman, age 87, of Lady Lake, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born on February 14, 1938, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Joseph and Amelia Grabusnik.
After graduating high school, Judy moved to Maryland to begin her career at the Department of Transportation. She dedicated more than 30 years of service as a program analyst in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration division, where she built a long and fulfilling career before retiring.
Judy married Joel Lawrence Berman, and together they shared many years of love and companionship. Following their retirement, they relocated to Lady Lake, Florida, drawn by the warm weather and slower pace of life.
She is survived by her husband Joel; her brotherRonald Grabusnik; her sister Janit Black; her daughter Juliana Berman Christmas and son-in-law Stuart Christmas; her grandchildren Alexander Feynman Christmas and Michael Isaac Christmas; her nieces Johanna Grabusnik and Christiana Black Kernodle; and her nephew Ronald Grabusnik Jr.
A strong woman of faith, Judy was deeply involved in her Pentecostal church families in both Maryland and Florida. She served faithfully in women’s ministry and participated in numerous outreach and volunteer programs throughout her life. Beyond her church work, Judy loved spending time with her family, cherishing every moment together. She delighted in overseas trips to visit her daughter and grandchildren, as well as cruises and shorter weekend getaways with her husband. She enjoyed staying active as a member of her community walking group and water aerobics group.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to friends and loved ones for their support during this time. Her life was a testimony to her love for Jesus, and she rests peacefully in His care.
