Justin Dale Haynes, 44, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on May 23, 2025. Born on December 5, 1980, in Las Vegas, Justin spent his life rooted in Southern Nevada, but his heart was always drawn to the wide-open skies of Montana.
After attending Western High School, Justin built a 23-year career as a skilled welder with the Clark County School District. His craftsmanship and dedication were evident in everything he touched. In recent years, he brought his talents and unwavering work ethic to the City of Henderson and Rio Secco Golf Course, where he continued to take pride in his work and support the people around him.
Justin had an unshakable curiosity and a gift for building, fixing, and reinventing just about anything. He never met a machine (or a plant) that didn’t intrigue him. His passions were as varied as they were sincere. From motorcycles and metal work, to exploring the outdoors and nurturing things that grow, both in the garden and in the hearts of those he loved.
To know Justin was to know joy. His contagious laugh (yeah, you know the one), goofy humor, and childlike wonder lit up every room and every life he touched. He had the biggest heart and never hesitated to lend a hand. Above all, he loved his family so fiercely and cherished every moment with them—especially his four nieces, who adored their Uncle Justin right back. His absence leaves a hole that can never be filled, but his memory will shine through all of us.
A celebration of Justin’s life will be held in Montana on July 6 with close family and friends. Justin will be missed beyond words and remembered with love, laughter, and the roar of an engine under an open sky.
