Kenneth Christopher "Chris" Witt, 43, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2014. He was born December 28, 1970, in Las Vegas. He medically retired after 18 years with the Clark County Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Probation Supervisor. He served as a Senior Airman in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Shield/Storm from 1990 to 1994 as a military police officer. He also served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves as a journalist ending in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; sons, Rylan and Jace; mother and father, Cathy and Jim; sister, Sharon; brother, James; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gini and Mark Prasse; along with the love of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, August 29. Services will be at noon Saturday, August 30, both at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones. Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131.
