Katelyn Mary Vanacore was called home February 14, 2016 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was born November 19, 1991 in Nevada. Katelyn had received her master's degree in 2015 in health care administration at Colorado State University and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. American Pathology Partners hired her as a human resources administrator, where she worked until her passing. Katelyn's hobbies included snowboarding, horseback riding, white water rafting and anything that included her families love and the love of outdoors. Her laugh was contagious and her faith was in abundance. Katelyn is survived by her father, Arthur Michael Vanacore; mother, Cari Lynn Smith; brother, Rick Welz; grandmother, Gloria Vanacore; the love of her life, Vincent Alcedo and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends. Being an organ donor, Katelyn went on to perform many miracles for families who had no other hope but to receive her gifts, she brought smiles where there were tears and love where there was no hope.
