KATHRYN GALLANT Kathryn A. Gallant, a telephone operator, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 15, 2013. She was born in Deer Lodge, Mont., and was a 29-year resident of Nevada. Kathryn was a wonderful, kind person who cared about others. She married Dr. Richard Gallant in 1946 and moved to Salt Lake City. Kathryn and Richard moved to Las Vegas in 1984. She always gave to others and earned 10,000 hours as a hospital volunteer. She was preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, Candace. She is survived by her son, Skip; and daughter, Nanette (Virgil). Kathryn will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A special thanks to Marsha at Fairway Residential Care Home. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Palm Memorial Park.
