Kathryn Irene Young, of Las Vegas, passed away, February 6, 2016. She was born in St, Louis, MO, July 2, 1933. Kathryn enjoyed bath tub racing, canning, square dancing and could even be found on her roof doing home repairs. She owned Horizon Outboard with her husband, Walter Young, until his passing. Together they also raised two of their grandchildren. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister. She is survived by four daughters: Peggy Duran, Connie McCoy, Debra Bailey, and Tracy Beavers; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
